Dreams Do Not Happen Over Night

As I grow older and am still waiting to start what is called a "big girl job", I often feel stuck. I can't do what I want until I do what I have to. I do not regret moving forward in my education because I have met some incredible people along the way. God has me here for "such a time as this." I am in no way comparing myself to Esther who could have been killed for her heroic act to protect her people. But I am however saying that dreams take time. They take time because God is working them out perfectly and in His own way. "As for God, His way is perfect." Psalm 18:30. It's like trying to take brownies out of the oven before they're finished. You end up with a gooey mess. And although that sounds good, it can be harmful. It's the same way with Jesus. he wants us to wait, be patient, or something won't go right and we will get hurt. WOW! Jesus sure does love us!! In the meantime, I am charging through life, taking the bull by the horns and trying my best to continue on in school. I have to keep telling myself daily "it's all working out according to the good God has set before me." I am not alone, He is with me.
